Life in Lockdown

1st Jan 2021, 3:53PM
2020, the worst year of everyone's life, has gone. Yes... although it depends on perspective whether it was good or bad. Anyway... now I have accepted the changes, that means now we have to find things in whatever we have.- However, at least I found an excuse to start this diary again. Hmm... although there isn't anything special to tell but still better instead of writing nothing... you know this already! I took many initiatives where most of them already failed, resulting in demotivation. And even after so many hopes, the first day of college was online. Now there isn't any hope... will see whatever will happen but this time, I'm ready for both the situations!
- So, Now let's come out of Negativity, and let me try, summarizing 2020.
- But first, let's introduce some New Characters...
#Introducing Some New characters ;- - ⇒ Aditya :- An FEA student who is little inspired of me and now a friend. If I tell in simple words... "He is dream lover!". Only dreams, but No Action.
- ⇒ Sobhit :- My neighbor, whose innocence and straightforwardness indeed isn't an acting! Even he doesn't know that people are very rare like him. Truly Innocent!
- ⇒ Neha :- A Newly friend, and till now she is the one to whom I can say a friend in my class. Let's see more about her... this year.
- ⇒ Payle :- May be, maybe I have already given her description earlier. But... still, I can say her a true friend. The reason is, she has supported in most of my initiatives till now.
The Year of 2020- Although this was started like... that "a virus is spreading rapidly"... but may be everyone has ignored the word "rapidly". At least our exams were finished before lockdown. So I can say with proud that "I got 90% by myself". However, Yes, there isn't anything to be proud of... Marks Doesn't Matter! I didn't visit FEA for past 2 months and now there isn't any benefit to go there.
- The things I could do in lockdown were Coding and Research for college. At the starting of registrations, I applied both for DU and Jamia. There were 90% chances for selection in DU (just due to marks), but if I would know that "Jamia application fee is non-refundable", then I wouldn't apply. Because it was almost confirmed for DU. At the end, the result also came negative i.e. "I failed Jamia Entrance!!"... may be due to Reservation or else lack of preparation. I know, now all that will seem to be excuses. The target was still Bhaskarya, but got admission in a better college. Which is. DDUC (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, DU), NIRF Rank - 15. In my opinion, there was a little risk, the first cut-off was 95.0% and my best three were also making exact 95.0%. But everything went fine, and got admission. Otherwise, the admissions for Chemistry Hons were closed in the 2nd cut-off. Yes! Chemistry Hons, which everyone already knew.
- Everyone knows that my interest is in Chemistry, but the reason behind it, no one would know. i.e. "Medicine for Psoriasis"! Don't know I would get succeed in that or not, but at least, now I have a reason to choose Chemistry! Specially, a topic for Research!
- *Tech & Other Activities...
- Instead of doing nothing, I took many initiatives such as Facebook Live for Teaching Academics, but couldn't continue due to the reason of Slow Internet. Also stopped uploading videos on my YouTube channel, because there is a bug in my phone's video recording and there isn't any motivation to record more videos.
- Furthermore, started Google Classroom. Earlier some doubt discussion started, but now only, assignments are being ignored or otherwise no one is using it (Google Classroom).
- Using Aditya's idea, I created a poster named "Code With Rk" and people also got interest... just to say. Actually, no one want to learn. Even most of the classes were free but no one is interested whether it is offline or online. I guess this is why India is far behind in coding. Here, people (most of the people) will learn something only when they are free after TikTok. It doesn't matter in India even TikTok get banned! Only Aditya completed the basic python course for 1 month... just for formality.
- Whatever... Leave all this fuck!
- At least I have learned enough to create a Portfolio using HTML+CSS, or a NotePad using python - Tkinter Module, and to teach basics of Java, C, C++, JS, C#, etc. I can teach the double of what I learned in my course (ADCA), with concepts! Main target is Internships, not teaching.
- *College Starts*
- Although it started, from an Orientation Program or I should say a series of Orientation Program. There were 20+ WhatsApp groups and in those, 200+ messages per hour! Now we have to study on WhatsApp, the WhatsApp, which used to be a distraction, with Google Meet & Zoom. Meanwhile, I found my first senior, 'Jyotsana', and I being her first Junior. Then I applied in all the societies, and till now got selected in 2+, and maybe only I, because most of the students in my class (course) don't know that "What are these societies?". Anyway...
- Anyway, till now #RkVirus is getting more viral than me! And just like this, Neha messaged me (Neha... from Haryana). I did not chat to anyone else in college as much as I have done with her. At least she understands what I say and accepts. Let's see the rest, what would happen in college.... A folder of certificates has already been created as soon as coming to college and the folder size is increasing too. Yes, I know, free certificates...
- For now, subjects are also in PDF form, except for Physical Chemistry, which I brought from DaryaGanj few days back. That adventure was also not less than a Survival. Rest of the books, Savita Ma'am would give.
- Now, if anybody asks - "How R U, Ravi?"
- Me - "Just Alive!"
- Anyway... at least completed a Digital Marketing Internship! And the one from Internshala is still going on. Just...
- Nothing else now, No Special Events, No plannings.
- -Just Survival...
- But, this won't happen in 2021!!
